WHY YOU GOT TO GO AND MAKE THINGS SO COMPLICATED?

Saturday, April 24th, 2010

Looks like the hosting for money deal is off for here on IA. Apparently, I’m not 100% certain I’ll be selling parts of my space for money as I may get in trouble with my host. However, I will be hosting fan sites to those who are interested for free. Again, there are 10 spots and now 3 of those spots will be taken. Seven left to go. If you’re interested, then email me. :D

As for the design service… That still may be a go. Ele and I are talking about it and reviewing our options on whether or not it’s in our best interest to start a design site together. We really want to start it, but after doing extensive research, our hopes are exactly what it is… hopes. When we get definite answers, we’ll let you all know what our decision will be in the end.

Peace home fries. A few more weeks until I start grad school!

EXQUISITE EXTREME DESIGNS

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

If you’re wondering where the site name came from, I suggest listening to “Beautiful Disaster” by Kelly Clarkson. :D Well, Ele and I have came up with a name and are now in the process of building the site. It will be hosted on her webhost, but the site will be directly linked to Infinite Alchemy. So far, we have the sub domain, and next Ele will be installing the scripts, then we’ll have to brain storm what to put on the layout.

We’ve done some thinking about what kind of content we should have for the visitors and have a ton of ideas on what we should do for our customers. Unfortunately, none of which we will reveal just yet. Until we solidify our ideas, we can’t give them out yet.

So in the meantime, stay tuned for more updates on the design site. I’ll be trying to get more content up for IA. It’s hard when I’ve been spending most of my days babysitting kids and now, a dog. When things die down, I’ll hope to it.

Take care, chill’un!

PROJECT: DESIGN SITE

Monday, April 12th, 2010

My greatest buddy, Ele, and I have decided to do a design site together! It will be in association with Infinite Alchemy, but I will have a design partner. VERYY excited about this project because it will be my first design site project and of course, I’ll be in collaboration, once again, with an EXCELLENT partner! You may know Ele from PanicAddicted.com, Hopelessly Addicted Secret Zone (those of you who are members), and most recently, Jagged Design.

More information when we talk about how we’ll have this all organized.

Peace out, home skillets!

BRAND NEW FASHION

Sunday, April 11th, 2010

Well, for those of you who’ve followed Fall Out Boy via fan sites long enough would recognize the post title. There was actually a site called, “BrandNewFashion.com.” I figured it was appropriate for the new layout I’ve just made.

It’s a bit grim and dark, but I’ve been incredibly lazy lately when it came to my graphic design stuff and I figured since I’ll be doing design packages, I should get in more practice and bulk up my skills.

Any hoo, I hope you all like it. Believe it or not, this one had a lot of thought put into it. I don’t work well with the color brown, and I had to think about how am I going to match everything with the layout. I think it turned out okay. Also, I’m fully aware that the radio isn’t working. I’ll fix it next chance I get. EDIT:// It works now. :D It’s 3am and I’m beat. Also, still no new pages, yet. So the navigation will just refresh this page. Also, the link to my twitter is above the twitter box. Right where it says, “twitter updates.”

Peace out, home fries!

A WORK IN PROGRESS

Saturday, April 10th, 2010

So, as you can see, I haven’t really gotten anything done for Infinite Alchemy, but the past few weeks, I’ve been approached about designing websites and whatnot, so I got an idea. I’ll basing my freelance work on Infinite Alchemy. I’ll have design packages and estimated prices. I thought about an hourly rate, but I figured set prices would be better, unless I’m doing a full-blown project, then I will charge at an hourly rate.

Also, I’ve decided to host a few sites on the IA server. 10 spots are open, however TWO are already taken (Alder Cass & Hopelessly Hopeful). I’ve decided that the prices for these open spots will be between $5-$10 a month depending on the hosting package. Here’s what I’m offering:

– your own personal AD FREE subdomain (YourSiteNameHere.infinitealchemy.com)
– your own FTP account
– your own email account (yoursitename@infinitealchemy.com), if desired
– your own MySQL information
– between 10GB – 50GB of space (which is why the price will vary)

The content of your site can be anything: self-promotion/portfolio, fan site, blog, etc. No anti-/hate sites and absolutely NO PORNOGRAPHIC sites.

Once I’ve resumed building, details of this will be posted. I just thought I should give you all a glimpse of what to expect.

JUST MAKING A STATEMENT

Sunday, December 6th, 2009

I know on twitter I’ve been ranting about Adam Lambert and his recent controversy.  I have an ultra strong belief in being yourself, and when he got beef for being himself, I felt the need to post a blog about it on my myspace, speak about it on twitter, and hell, I talked my sister’s ear off about it.  There’s a boat load of phony baloney people and hypocritical people in the media and not to mention, in society as well.  So, when the least phony and hypocritical of all people take the stage, America lost it’s goddamn mind.  How can we preach individuality and freedom of expression and condemn it when it’s portrayed in the media?

I understand there’s a line, but to be frank, it’s not an obvious one.  I don’t think Adam Lambert’s performance should be condemned just because he was expressing himself nor should he be punished for doing so.  Because I don’t see one, I decided to make a layout in homage to Adam and his bold performance (And for those of you who are wondering, no, I’m not gay.  I’m not in denial, nor am I in the closet.  I just want everybody to be able to be truthful in who they are without being targeted and made an example of).

In more site news, I’m still in the process of rebuilding.  I just thought I should put a layout up and blog to let you all know I’m still alive.  I’m thinking of doing hosting packages and design packages.  What do you think?

I’m out.  Rock ‘n’ Roll, jive turkeys!

WE’LL BE BACK SOON! I PROMISE!

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

Well, as a result of the hacker’s damage (I just altered the index pages, my ass!), I’m going to rebuild.   To shed some light on the situation, I feel that rebuilding is a good thing.  It allows me some time to do the site in a way that I see fit.

I’m in the mood for some change anyway.  With my life moving on to a beginning of a new chapter, I think all the ambiances that come with me should endure changes as well.

So please be patient!  We’ll be back soon.  I hope.
